Table of Contents

This is only a fraction of what's is on the Internet. Except for the Harknesses, These were picked these for variety, content, geography, and appearance. There's some interesting ones and some dull ones, some pretty, some ugly. The idea here is to list a representative segment of what has been put up on the Internet by home inspection companies and individuals.
While including many links to useful information. Many changes and improvements/sophistications have occurred in what has been put up on the Internet, in general, and by these entities (changes and upgrades are happening continuously) --this means links may be broken without notice.

At one time John Harkness owned Apex home Inspection company in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Robert Harkness Asheville Property Inspections by Robert Harkness is in North Carolina, USA. Home Inspections by Adams, Soloman and Harkness owned by Rodney Harkness was in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. At least one other "Harkness" home inspector exists. And, yes, all the Harknesses seem to be related.

10. A Few Real Estate Oriented Sites:
    --- FSBO Stuff ---
The FSBO (For Sale By Owner) marketing approach is steadily growing. Like it or not, FSBO assisted sites and programs have become a permanent fact of life. There is strong support for a burgeoning F.S.B.O. market. It appears that the Internet has had a major effect on this growth. Several FSBO groups offer everything traditional Real Estate Agencys offer. If real estate agents set up their personal web site to offer services to the public; and make it clear that a Realtor© can and does help show and sell FSBO's, that real nestate agent would probably sell more homes. (An agent can strike a contract to assist in purchasing a FSBO.) From a buyers perspective, having a consulting real estate agent assist them in purchasing a home, usually adds a lot of valuable expertise.

Put "FSBO" into a search engine (be sure to ADD the area that interests you, please be specific) --when this is done prepare to receive many returns. Below are a few links just to get you started.
